Corporate Hangar, in a strategic partnership with Prysmian, identified a multi-million dollar inefficiency in cable drum management. Through insightful dialogues with supply chain managers, Corporate Hangar understood the need for higher cable drum circularity to boost operation’s efficiency and sustainability.

Our solution, Alesea, is an IoT device for cable drum management. It was developed in close collaboration between our IoT & business experts and Prysmian’s Supply Chain & Logistic Managers.

Alesea offers a comprehensive package that includes the device, a web platform and an app. Our customers can track the location of their assets, the cable consumption of each drum but can also monitor shocks and assess installation quality.

What started as an internal tool for Prysmian, now sets the market standard in cable tracking, widely adopted by cable manufacturers and utilities alike.
