He has served as Chief Strategy Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Prysmian Group S.p.A., a world leader in the production of cables for the energy, telecommunications and optical fibres sectors. In the last 20 years he has held several positions, first at Pirelli S.p.A. (Energy Cable sector) and later at Prysmian Group S.p.A., playing a central role in the team that managed Prysmian’s acquisition of the Energy Cable sector of Pirelli S.p.A. in 2005, its listing in 2007, and its current configuration, resulting from the acquisitions of Draka and General Cable, completed respectively in 2011 and 2018. Before that he spent 12 years at Magneti Marelli, mostly in the Electronic Systems division, until he became its Managing Director. And before that, he served as Technical Advisor to the Managing Director of Honeywell Information System.

Srinivas ‘Srini’ Siripurapu received his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University USA. Srini joined General Electric Company after graduating from NC State and held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in product development and technology innovation. In his current role he is responsible for the company’s world wide R&D strategy, R&D talent development and Innovation pipeline. Srini has a proven track record of building high performance teams and successful customer driven innovations in Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, Communications, Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare and Consumer Electronics market segments. Roberto Candela (1970) received the Doctor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Palermo, Italy, in 1996. Since 1996 he’s been working in the Research Group of Electrotechnics. He has successfully finished his Phd in Electrical Engineering at the same University. Since December 2004 he is a researcher at University of Palermo where teaches Basic Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnics and Foundations of Informatics. His main research interest is in the field of optimization methods for diagnosis in dielectrics material for high voltage application and development of technologies for the signals treatment and diagnosis of insulating system through partial discharges measurements. In 2006 he develops and patents a new sensor for measuring partial discharges in wireless mode that is on the base of Pry-Cam product range.
